ROGER ROYSE is the founder and owner of the Royse Law Firm (www.rroyselaw.com), a 25 lawyer firm with offices in San Francisco and Palo Alto. Practicing law since 1984, Roger’s background includes work with prominent San Francisco Bay area and New York City law firms. He is a frequent speaker, writer, radio guest, blogger and panelist for bar associations, CPA organizations, and business groups. Roger is a Northern California Super Lawyer, is AV Peer-Rated by Martindale Hubbell, and has a “Superb” rating from Avvo.
Roger is active in leadership roles with several bar associations, including the following:

Roger recently formed one the first law firm sponsored legal incubators, the RoyseLaw Legal Incubator, to provide mentorship and training to new lawyers who will provide pro bono and low bono legal services to underserved Legal markets.  Roger is also the organizer of Silicon Valley AgTech and Silicon Valley AgTech Conference and runs the AgTech Innovation Network, and early stage incubator and network for tech companies in the agriculture and food markets. Roger is a 2014 and 2015 recipient of the Innovator Award, presented by The Recorder, for the RoyseLaw Legal Wizard, and owns several websites, including Royse University (a content site). Roger organized, hosted and moderated a first ever Presidential Candidates Forum in 2015 in which 5 presidential candidates participated.

Roger is a vice chair of the Lincoln Club of Northern California, a participating instructor of corporate law for the Center for International Legal Studies (Salzburg Austria) and is an adjunct Professor of Taxation (Corporate Tax, Property Transactions and International Taxation) for Golden Gate University School of Law. Roger is the founder of the Royse Foundation and the philanthropic organization Team Motion to Dismiss Cancer which conducts high profile auctions of meetings with venture capitalists to raise money for charity and has been recognized for his efforts on behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by being named the 2012 San Francisco Bay Area Chapter Man of the Year. Roger is currently a member of the Menlo Park General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC), which has been formed to study the update to the general plan for a substantial part of the community (including the premises on which Facebook resides), and is a board member of Asian, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to assisting minority owned businesses and disadvantaged individuals. Roger has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, the San Francisco Chronicle, Reuters, The Recorder, 7X7 and Fast Company.
